Capuchin Monkies
Capuchin monkies are often babies in a picture.
As the name of the species suggests, the black head-coloring of the ape resembles the cowl of the monk. The apes vary in color from light brown to black. Facial patterns are also variable among individuals. The hands, feet and the prehensile tail may be black or dark brown.

These apes live in groups consisting of 2 or 3 adult males, 3 or 4 adult females, 2 or 3 juveniles and subadults, and 1 or 2 infants. Like with many other species of apes, females usually remain within their social group their entire lives, while the young males emigrate when they reach the age of sexual maturity.
